About this place
The headland shaped like a hammerhead.
Gwadar's natural isthmus curls out into the Arabian Sea in a shape that gives this beach its name, one of the more recognisable coastlines in Pakistan when seen from above. Untouched sand, dramatic cliffs and turquoise water make it a striking, still largely undiscovered stop on Pakistan's southern coast, best visited early morning or late afternoon when the light on the cliffs is at its richest.
