Malam Jabba

Pakistan's ski slopes.

Sitting at 2,804 metres in the pine-forested hills above Swat Valley, Malam Jabba is Pakistan's only fully developed ski resort, with a chairlift, groomed runs and equipment rental through the winter season. Outside of ski months it turns into a green hill-station retreat, popular for its cable car rides and sweeping valley views. The drive up from Mingora winds through terraced fields and small villages that make the approach part of the appeal.
