About this place

The cathedral peaks of the KKH.

The jagged granite spires above Passu village, often called the Passu Cathedral, are one of the most photographed mountain silhouettes along the entire Karakoram Highway. A short hike up to the glacier viewpoint above the village brings you level with the Passu Glacier's crevassed tongue, with the cones rising sharply behind it, best seen in the golden light of early morning before cloud builds over the peaks.
